This time, the test location was again in the middle of a palm oil plantation —

bumpy dirt roads, steep inclines, and truly challenging terrain.

 

The unit tested: a HINO 500 fuel tank (empty).

Even without a full load, navigating this terrain was still no easy feat.

With the factory settings, acceleration felt slow.

The time required to reach 0–60 km/h was 16.79 seconds.

Even without a load, the driver had to press the accelerator pedal quite hard to keep the truck moving.

After the ECU was recalibrated, torque was felt earlier,

and the accelerator pedal response was much sharper.

The 0-60 km/h acceleration time dropped dramatically to 10.97 seconds —

almost 6 seconds faster!

The difference was immediately noticeable: quicker starts, smoother acceleration —

and from the driver's lips came a simple but meaningful sentence:

"I never thought it would feel this agile."
