In 2024, the 32nd Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) was held with the theme "Longevity Fest," attracting thousands of participants. Highlights of the event included a breakthrough presentation by Harvard scientist Dr. David Sinclair on gene therapy reversing glaucoma in aging mice, as well as in-depth discussions on hormone therapy, the relationship between nutrition and longevity, and advanced anti-aging technologies. The exhibition showcased various innovative technologies, such as hyperbaric oxygen devices, heat shock and cold shock therapy equipment, non-radiative diagnostic instruments, and weight loss medications based on GLP-1 and GIP. Light therapy drew significant attention, demonstrating its ability to enhance mitochondrial activity, reduce oxidative stress, and highlight the potential presence of light-sensitive proteins (Opsin) throughout the body. Intermittent hypoxia training was also featured, emphasizing the Hormesis effect to boost anti-aging gene expression, with the introduction of simulation devices to improve safety.
